Misleading

Bought a couch while setting on the electric model I was buying. What they delivered was a different fabric and manual recline.

Sales person stood rite in front of me and told me of a promotion for the couch I was sitting on and thought it was the one I was getting.. I would never buy a couch that I didn't sit on! Price was misquoted and scam all the way! I should have had my phone to record the conversation!

Of course kanes sides with the 2 employees! I will never deal with kanes again! It's not the x 2 or 3 hundred dollars that is in question here I would gladly pay the difference but,it was the smart *** manager Henry questioning what I was saying! Was friends with Michael blocker for years and I should have gone to his store in ocala, I would have never been treated this way!

Kanes furniture is over my house and now it repulsed me to look at it. Never shopping at kanes and if I were you I would shop somewhere else!

I purchase a white sectional for 1000 dollars it is in my formal living room just for show. The set is now peeling and coming apart at the seams . I contacted Kanes and they told me that because it was purchased over a year ago which they say is the manufacturer warranty and that I didnt take out and additional warranty that there is nothing they can do about it! This is Sad and unacceptable! Money Wasted !

I placed an order with Kanes Furniture back in October for a bedroom set, showed the transaction was pending on my Kanes furniture card and I rcvd a confirmation email. Here we are in June and I never received my order.

I asked about my order in February and they never found it. After 3 weeks of speaking to web sales, supervisors and IT they said there was a glitch and my order was never received. I requested that the furniture be price matched to what it was 9 months ago as it is about $700 difference I requested free shipping and 20% off for this inconvenience, horrible customer service and 9 months of no furniture.

I was told the only thing they could do was price match to what I had originally purchased the furniture for, is that supposed to help me, how is that assisting me in anyway with not receiving my furniture in 9 months 3 straight weeks of reordering the same furniture and countless calls and emails with absolutely no help. I will never ever purchase furniture from this company again!

Broken and stranded!

I purchased a love seat and a sofa just less than 1 year ago and had it delivered to the house I lived in at that time. Flash forward <1 year later and I have since purchased and moved into another home.

The love seat I purchased has a motorized recliner and head rest, the back of the seat has broken, obviously structurally, and now protrudes into my midsection making it painful to sit in. I contacted the warranty department, sent them all of my documents and they told me that since it was within the 1 year period I needed to contact the store, which I did and was told that since I moved my warranty is now null and void since there was the "possibility" that I broke it in the move. Hmmm... that means that there is still the possibility that it was not and it was actually a manufacturer's error!

But you all know that does not matter, you assume all of the risk no matter what because they have it printed on the back of the sales ticket. Another case of take the customer to the cleaners and assume no possibility of risk. I read the back of the sales ticket and can't find any reason why they could be held liable for anything based on all of the conditions!

Don't buy from Kane's, you will throw away $3k within a year and won't see any recourse! Oh, by the way, the couch was fine for 5 months after the move, reason to believe that it wasn't due to the move but that really doesn't matter!!!

We had furniture delivered 12/17/2021. One of the pieces is the wrong side we ordered.

The same wrong piece delivered had a black mark on it that was on it and could see undered the plastic before it was even unwrapped. We actually video the couch being unwrapped and can visually see the black mark underneath the packaging before it was even removed which is on a video luckily. Fortunately the wrong price delivered is the same one that have the mark. We have called customer service including text with the sales rep.

She has not been available to resolve the matter. Was told we need to deal with the sales rep but they have been out for emergency or off that day. I have also spoke to customers service and they have some notes on the account regarding concerns and need correct piece delivery ASAP.

Please contact me to resolve this matter right away please. Thank you.

After opening Christmas presents, a piece of scotch tape got stuck on the table. When I took off the tape it ripped off a huge chunk of finish which was essentially thin paper glued to the table. When I called to see how I could get it fixed, it was too old! 1 year and 6 months old. Lol. No offer to help with repair cost. Maybe they could just send me a piece of the paper they glued to the top of the table, but no. Wouldnt recommend!!!

I purchased the Dante collection graphite dresser with mirror we took the screws out of the back of the mirror to remove it from the dresser for moving purposes and whoever set up the dresser from Kanes furniture left something sticky on the bottom of the mirror so when we lifted the mirror it broke a piece of the particle board dresser off!!! I had no idea something I paid over $700 for was nothing but junky particleboard and not wood!!! Now I have a huge chip in the top of my dresser which I have had barely a year because of someones incompetency when they set up my furniture!!

I bought a living room set and a bedroom set about 2 years ago . Im not happy with either its poor quality furniture .finish is coming off bedroom set . And all recliners on my couch are not working. Its only me and my wife home we hardly use the couch I had to order new power buttons and pay for it . Its been 3 months and still waiting for them to come in . This is crazy . Dont buy Kanes furniture. AndI will be posting this on social media .

Very pissed

Well apparently I picked out furniture that didnt fit my house I admit I need the wrong choice but after they put it in the house and I saw the way it looked I was very very much disappointed in my decision I called them right away and told Adam if I can just exchange it they told me they would have to charge me a 20% restocking fee and I was more than glad to pay for my mistake then when I went in to look for another site all I got was a group of people just gossiping and looking at me making me feel very uncomfortable for picking out furniture I did not like I just feel like if you were going to pay that much money for furniture and you have to love it and no its not their fault that I felt like I was being punished by the Brandon location Or making a bad choice

Bait and switch tactic

We were ready to order a recliner when we were told that the price would be an additional $40 (a 10% + increase). The cost was for bringing the chair from St Petersburg to Port Charlotte. We would still have to pick up the chair and bring it to our house. Internal movement of their product should not be passed on to the customer. We did not go through with the purchase. We still want the chair at the original price.

We ordered a bedroom set on 04/08/2021 it was back ordered till July, then November. Then they called and said February. I just called asking for an ETA and they are now telling me April!! Absolutely ridiculous. Im waiting a whole year for a bed!!

Customer service at the store in Lakeland, Florida. The very rude customer service of associate Amanda. She is Hispanic and obviously she didn't know that I was also Hispanic or she wouldn't have discussed me in Spanish with another associate. I would like a call back. I would also like to say that the younger lady at the desk and Michelle are amazing!!! They were very polite and did everything they could to help
